DIGTRX 3.11 Download & Setup
In addition to the RDFT digital SSTV mode, DIGTRX 3.11 includes the DRM digital SSTV mode. DRM is Digital Radio Mondiale or HF Digital World Radio by HB9TLK. It is based on the DREAM voice encoding program. For DIGTRX 3.11 to operate in the DRM mode, it requires a 500MHz or faster computer running under Windows XP or 2000 (SP4). Hyper-threading should be disabled on those computers with Pentium processors with this feature.

Click the link below. This should start the download via F6BAZ. This ZIP download must be unzipped first to produce the self extracting executable file. Run the installation program. You may install over a previous installation. This should preserve your old settings.

DIGTRX 3.11 - Setup
Start DIGTRX 3.11 by double clicking the new DIGTRX icon on the desktop.
Enter your call if asked.
Click "OK" after the call is entered.
Click Setup, PTT control setup, select the Com Port for PTT for your interface.
Uncheck "Disabled". Click OK.
If you wish to use the newer DRM mode, you must select it by clicking on the button that says "Mode: W12". From the list, click on the line "HamDRM".
Close DIGTRX to save these settings.
DIGTRX 3.11 - Setup for Progressive RX Picture Display
The DIGTRX 3.11 feature called Progressive RX Picture Display allows for viewing images progressively as they are being received. JPG images will paint down the screen similar to receiving analog SSTV. BMP images will display from the bottom upwards. JP2 images will display a full image quickly but may be fuzzy then grainey before becoming sharp and clear. Other image types do not display progressively.
This feature requires IrfanView and the JP2 plug-ins to be installed.

Install IrfanView first, then run the install for the plug-ins. There should be a red IrfanView icon on your desktop.
===== START HERE IF IRFANVIEW AND PLUG-INS ARE ALREADY INSTALLED =====
Start DIGTRX in DRM mode. Do this by clicking the button at the top of the screen "Mode: W12". Click on the line near the center of the TX modes screen that says "HamDRM". Minimize DIGTRX.
RIGHT click the red IrfanView icon on the desktop.
LEFT click Properties.
In the "Target" box, highlight the part of the line that says something like C:\Program Files\IrfanView\
RIGHT click this highlighted line, LEFT click Copy.
Close IrfanView Properties.
Maximize DIGTRX 3.11
Click Setup, Options, Use IrfanView, RIGHT click inside the white box, LEFT click "Paste". This will place the previously highlighted text into the box. Click OK.
Click Setup, Options, Progressive RX Picture Display. This will place a checkmark in front of this line.
Close DIGTRX, this will save these settings.
